The kinds of things an audit surfaces

We look at your site from every angle that matters for search, and find the openings you are missing and the problems holding you back: the keywords and pages that are not there, the content that is not pulling its weight, and the technical detail underneath.

Want to see what we would find on your site?

What we do

Organic search is a stack of different jobs. These are the ones we take on, from sizing the opportunity down to the technical detail underneath.

Find the opportunity, and size it

We map what your site already covers against what people actually search for in your market, and we put demand figures against each gap. Where the data will not support a claim, we say so instead of guessing.

Find where a site can be built out at scale

Every site has axes it could be organised on: services, locations, brands, use cases, problems, budgets, audiences. We work through them one at a time and in combination, rank what comes out by measured demand, and keep the sets that are large enough to be worth building and specific enough that each page has something of its own to say.

Rewrite the pages you already have

Where existing pages target wording nobody searches for, we rewrite titles, meta descriptions, headings and body copy against terms with demand behind them, mapped page by page so two of your own pages are not competing for the same term.

Build the pages you are missing

Keyword set, URL structure, internal linking and the pages themselves. A set of pages shares a structure, which is what makes it a set and what makes it buildable at all. What it does not share is its content: each page carries detail that is true only of that page, never one template with the name swapped in.

Check the technical side and tell you what to fix

Crawling and indexing, sitemaps, canonicals, redirects, structured data, page speed, index bloat. You get a prioritised list with the reasoning, in an order that reflects what it is actually worth fixing.

Write a run of articles

Where a topic cluster has demand and you have nothing covering it: a defined number of pieces, researched against measured terms, on the topics that earn their place.

Proof we can put on screen

Most agencies report results second-hand. These come with the Search Console screens behind them, because this is a site we own and run. Over three months we applied the same methodology we would use on yours, from the keyword and page work down to the technical layer underneath, and measured what moved.

0.1%1.6%
click-through rate
about 16x over three months

Four consecutive monthly readings, each higher than the last: 0.1, then 0.4, then 0.8, then 1.6 percent. Measured across the same pages and the same market throughout, and with no change in ranking position, which places the gain in how those pages present themselves in results rather than in where they sit.

The work Titles, meta descriptions and above-the-fold content rewritten against terms with measured search demand.

Google Search Console, average click-through rate by month, rising from roughly 0.1 percent to 1.6 percent across four monthly points.

223
clicks in two weeks
first window measured against the latest

Two equal windows, one at each end of the period. Weekly clicks held between zero and two through the first two months, then ran in double figures for the last three weeks.

The work Pages rebuilt to lead with their real content instead of templated copy repeated across the set.

Google Search Console, total clicks by week, flat between zero and four for two months and then climbing to thirteen.

1123
of 52 pages earning clicks
more than doubled

Counted across the 52 pages present in both windows, so pages published in between cannot flatter the figure. The gain is distributed rather than concentrated in one page: eight of the original eleven held their clicks, and fifteen pages earned their first.

The work A full pass over the on-page and technical layer, implemented and verified across every page in the set.

First window11 of 52
Latest window23 of 52
One slot per page, in the same order on both boards. Filled means that page earned at least one click in that window.

Who you'll be dealing with

Anton, who runs Showright

Anton runs Showright and does the search work himself. He came to it from seven years of building software, and that is where the method comes from: a site gets worked through the way you would work through a system, every layer in a defined order, nothing skipped because it was not the interesting part.

He has also built and run a subscription product of his own, so the question of whether traffic turns into paying customers is one he has had to answer for himself.

The site behind the numbers above is one he owns and runs, which is why we can show you the Search Console screens directly instead of an anonymised chart. The person who emails you is the person doing the work.
